History

I came from a creative family, with a photographing father, a sculpting and painting mother, a brother and sister who paint and teach workshops, seminars and painting classes.

I started as a photographer at age 40 with my own studio, but from age 50 I started painting as a self-taught artist.

I attended Sculpture Classes at St. Joost School of Art & Design Breda, Fotovakschool Apeldoorn, Foto Academie Amsterdam, Photography and Sculpture Arts at De Nieuwe Academie Utrecht. I attended several painting workshops in France and in the Netherlands.

Since a few years I attend painting classes at the Volksuniversiteit Utrecht and at Still Live Studio Utrecht.

As from 2024 I organize Workshops and teach classes in Drawing & Collages at the Bibliotheek Utrecht.

I work from home at my studio, where I create every day.
